Don’t let the name throw you off. Farmhouse sinks are not just for traditional country kitchens. They can be used in almost any style of kitchen. They are durable, appealing, and classic. There are quite a few benefits of going with this type of sink instead of the traditional top mount or undermount sink.

## Benefits of a Farmhouse Sink

- Typically deeper than the traditional stainless steel,  undermount, or top-mount sinks
- More comfortable since there is not countertop or cabinets in between you and the sink
- Great for washing large pots, pans, baking sheets, and other bulky items
- You can choose the single bowl or double bowl sink option
- Come in a variety of materials  making it easy to coordinate with countertops and cabinets
