Having a bathroom with no windows can sometimes make it feel closed in and dark. If you don’t have access to natural light there are some things you can do to brighten it up and make it feel less boxed in.

Design Tips

  • Incorporate white – Whether it’s cabinets, tile, or even a painted wall it will open up the room.
  • Add mirrors and glass - Mirrors will add visual interest and won’t absorb the light. Glass doors on cabinets will help reflect the light in the bathroom.
  • Use an open vanity – This will help the bathroom feel larger and not so closed in.
  • Use layered lighting – Have more than one light source. It will brighten the room and add to the overall style.
