If you walk into almost any home chances are they have some type of a pet. Many homeowners consider their pets as much a part of the family as any member. In fact about 68 percent of homes in America own some type of pet. A majority of those homes have a least a dog or cat, with many of them having multiple pets.
Our pets will hang out with us anywhere we are in the house. With the amount of time we spend in the kitchen it is important to think about our kitchen design and how it will affect those furry friends in our home.
In many kitchens there is a bowl of food and water that is often tripped over or spilled because it seems to get in the way. Many homeowners will throw their pet food in any cabinet that it will fit. It’s important not to make your pet an afterthought when designing your new custom kitchen.
Things to Consider
