Whether it is on a wall in your kitchen, in a rec room, or in an outdoor living area there are lots of great things you can include in your wet bar. Wet bars are ideal for entertaining and make it convenient for having easy access to the perfect beverage. For some individuals it may make sense to have more than one.
Just about any wall in your home can be turned into a stylish wet bar. Getting the right design and including the right things will make all the difference.
Wet Bar Design Tips
- Choose a cabinet style that reflects its location. You would use different cabinets for the kitchen than you would a man cave.
- Match your sink to your larger kitchen sink.
- Use glass doors so you can store and see your stemware.
- Include a small refrigerator to keep drinks cold and accessible.
- Have a place for your coffee maker or install a built in gourmet hot beverage maker.
- Include an icemaker. Your kitchen fridge never seems to have enough. This will prevent having to run out and buy bags of ice.
